After years of pain and trapped nerves, I was referred to Castle Hill Dr Hussain. I was seen in record time and had the operation within 6 weeks of initial consultation. I understood all that was said and advised. Ive since been discharged and still in some pain. I am totally impressed with my service, especially in a pandemic.

I had my operation to relieve lumbar stenosis last week 9th December.I was discharged on Saturday 11th.I had been anxious about the procedure for months and dithered about having it or not.I read as much as I could about it....probably not the best idea.Iknow it is essential that patients are warned about possible negative outcomes.I tended to dwell on these. However when I met Mr Hussain he understood my concerns .I felt complete confidence in this charming man. I am so glad I went ahead. The whole team kept me informed and feeling safe.Iam not only grateful for the skill and expertise of the whole team but also for their cheerfulness and kindness A week later I can report that I no longer have burning pains in my legs that stopped me walking or even standing.Little by little I shall improve stamina so that I can walk among trees in the Spring.Thank you Mr Hussain

I was under then care of Mr.Hussain suffering from Cervical stenosis at the top of my spine, causing numbness, balance issues and sensations in my arms and hands I can only describe as tingling like an electric shock. After my consultation Mr.Hussain explained that although the surgery carried lots of risks, not having it could result in a serious deterioration of my situation. Mr Hussain gave me the confidence to proceed with surgery. The day of the operation was well organised and I was introduced to a number of Mr Hussain’s team who talked me through the process and answered my questions. All went well and afterwards Mr Hussain called in to see me and to update me. The nurses and staff on my ward were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. On discharge I was again fully advised and updated of what to expect and to do. I saw physio’s and other nurses. I can only say that surgery is worrying but Mr Hussain and his team are very skilled and have my upmost respect. I would like to personally thank Mr Hussain for his dedication.
